Jamie Perlow and Direct Effect!
I am not only pleased, but thrilled to be one of the three newest members of the Direct Effect band! My brother, David Perlow is playing keys, I'm the "front" girl, and the third newbie is bass player/singer George Gurganis. We have Frank Aurigemma on guitar-Synths, Mike Aurigemma on drums and Peter Arcuri on lead guitar and vocals. We will be recording audio samples and videos of the creation process to be uploaded here in the near future. Our performance dates will be posted here as well.

Jamie Perlow
I am a singer/songwriter, musician, percussionist, recording artist, and well seasoned entertainer all rolled up into one! I am currently performing all over the Tampa Bay area. I can be seen at the Hard Rock Seminole Casino and Hotel in Tampa on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Lobby Bar with Peter Van from 6 PM to 11 PM. On the weekends, I can be seen "gigging" with my band the Direct Effect.
You can check my appearance page for our upcoming schedule that is open to the public. We do many concerts, private parties and weddings. I also work as a front girl for hire in various band rotations, duets, and trios. On my solo gigs, I sing, play guitar and play percussion to song requests from my song list. I perform at night clubs, bars, corporate events, house parties, holiday parties, and other events that would be enhanced by musical entertainment. I am also available for the following studio work related services:

What's "Late Bloomer" about?
I am currently finishing up the remaining tracks of my original songs, and it is called Late Bloomer. I called it that because, well let's just say I wasn't writing songs in the sandbox. I didn't write until I was 27.
It hasn't been something that comes easy for me and things like putting an entire collection of tracks together tend to take a lot of time. So I think of myself as a "Late Bloomer", as it has been a recurring theme lately! Anyhow, many of the tracks are available now April 1st, no foolin! My tracks are available for both preview and download as well.
